With the launch of Mission Control, we also introduced new game mechanics into the Planet IX Ecosystem. Everything is interconnected, and it is important for the Agents of Change to fully understand how each new component works in conjunction with one another. One of the new assets that we are introducing are Loot Crates which we will detail more below.

Loot Crates

As detailed previously, Waste can be acquired from collecting it from the Mission Control tiles staked with in-game assets or it can be acquired from raiding other players. What is exciting about Waste collection is that the player also has a chance to find loot crates. Every time Waste is collected, there is a 0.5% chance of finding a loot crate.

Every loot crate can contain different amounts of bonus loot. When the loot crate is burned, the player will receive between 2–5 bonus loot items. Bonus loot items can include: Bio-M0ds, blueprints and Astro Credits. The probabilities of obtaining different bonus loot from the loot chest is broken down below:

The loot crates add an exciting element to collecting waste daily. Players should focus on maximizing their waste collection in hopes of obtaining loot crates which contain a variety of useful assets. Waste collection is not automatic, and therefore it is important to strategize accordingly to collect waste as efficiently as possible. Always check incoming bids, and always collect your waste.
